TCM® Software Release 10.2

M-SystemSite ServerEnterprise ServerOcular

  • The main focus on this release is the implementation of BLOBs (Binary Large Objects).  It is now possible to use TCM® hardware to transfer a BLOB.
  • The generic capabilities of the TCM® M-System have also been extended, now the TCM® M-System is able to transfer BLOBs (Binary Large Objects).
  • In the TCM® configuration an extension to the Python Sensor has been made, so it will support scripts that not only produces measurements, operational values for binning and RPM scripts but now the TCM® Python script also supports BLOBs – Binary Large Objects. This means that you in a simple matter can make a script that produces content, just like when you hit a URL on the web you get some content back. You can write almost anything as long as it produces content; this could be a pdf file, an image or a video. You are able to insert a number of scripts – this is now part of the TCM® infrastructure. You can build this infrastructure using our TCM® Python script where you deploy the script and then the TCM® M-system will record these BLOBs and transfer them to the TCM® Site Server.
  • The new BLOB item requires an additional license on top of the existing Python Scripting License, a BLOB script license, a license for the TCM® M-system to be able to perform the BLOB script measurements.
  • We now provide an infrastructure supporting 3G setups.
  • The TCM® M-System is now able to connect to a Jump Host, and the TCM® Enterprise Server can connect to the same Jump Host, meaning that we are now able to place a TCM® Jump Host in between the TCM® Enterprise Server and the TCM® M-System where the TCM® M-System is the initiator of the communication. It is not possible to access the TCM® M-System externally, meaning that you cannot contact the TCM® M-System for support, strictly for security reasons.

  • The TCM® Site Server now supports multiple Jump Hosts for enhanced security configurations.

  • We support the latest updates for the supported operating systems on the TCM® Sites Servers and TCM® Enterprise Servers
  • There is a new item on the TCM® Enterprise server task-list called “Blob – Sync”. The purpose of this task is to pull BLOBs from turbines. You will get this update/script by default in the TCM® Enterprise Server; however it won’t have any scheduled time to run so it won’t run unless it’s configured to do so.
  • The REST interface has been extended to support the download of BLOBS. On the TCM® Enterprise Server you can see both the raw data and the BLOBs.
